What is Group Therapy?

As the name implies, group therapy entails addressing a common mental health issue within a group setting. In a confidential and safe environment, we gather five or more individuals who share similar concerns so we can explore and develop strategies they can apply to their daily lives. Group therapy offers the benefit of allowing you to share others’ perspectives, learning through observation and realizing that you are not alone. Group therapy is also a cost-effective alternative to individual therapy.
